Cultural Safety Workshop through UNBC

Dear General Practitioners, MOA’s and Specialists

The Central Interior Rural Division of Family Practice is hosting a team from UNBC who will be offering a Cultural Safety Workshop in Williams Lake on June 25, 2019, 5:30-9:00 at Signal Point, Pioneer Room (see attached poster).   This will be an interactive workshop for healthcare providers with a cultural safety focus through stories from three presenters who will be sharing their diverse cultural perspectives.  Dinner will be provided prior to commencement of the event.  The workshop is also a fully accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and has been approved by UBC CPD for up to 3.0 MOC Section 1 Group Learning credits. This program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by UBC CPD for up to 3.0 Mainpro+ Group Learning credits.
